Program Description
The School of Medicine has introduced, starting with the 2012-2013 academic year, the MD-PhD Program (from English MD: Medical Doctor; and Latin PhD: PhilosophiƦ Doctor), an academic program designed for highly motivated medical students that prepares future physicians to work at the interface between clinical medicine and experimental research.
Admission to the Program is open to third-year medical students by national competition. Admitted students are a maximum of ten per year and enjoy tuition exemption, hospitality in university residences and scholarships.
