Commission for the Coordination of Specialisation Schools

Composition

The Commission for the Coordination of Specialisation Schools of the School of Medicine consists of the following members:

• The Director of the School of Medicine;
• The Deputy Director of the School of Medicine;
• The Coordinator of the Specialisation Schools, appointed upon the proposal of the Director of the School of Medicine;
• Directors/Coordinators of the Specialisation Schools (including Coordinators for UNITO of Schools with administrative headquarters at other Universities)

The Coordinator and the members of the Commission are appointed by the School of Medicine Council, upon the proposal of the Director shared with the Board, and are appointed by Director's Decree. 

The Director of the Teaching and Student Services Division of the University of Turin, or his delegate, is a permanent guest to the Commission's meetings. The Heads of other Administrative Departments with expertise in the issues discussed at the meetings may also attend.

Main Duties

The Commission has functions of coordinating, rationalizing and promoting the activities of Specialisation Schools. The Commission also promotes postgraduate training activities, including in the modality of continuing education (ECM), and distance learning (FAD), involving Degree Courses and the Commission for Specializing Masters as appropriate. The Commission may recommend and suggest criteria for conventions and agreements with the NHS related to Professionalizing activities.
